Make a soft dough with maida, oil and water and keep aside
Now in a pan sauté 2 cups of grated coconut with sugar and cardamom powder till the coconut becomes soft and the sugar melts completely
Off the flame and let it cool
Now take a small portion of the dough and roll it flat like a Poori.
Now stuff 2 tablespoon of coconut in the poori and close the edges pressing them with the thumb finger
Continue the same process with the left over dough
Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying. Fry the ready gujiyas in low flame.
Serve in normal temperature
